“Flôr is the kind of eatery I always dreamed of, one that follows the rhythm of the day. From morning onwards, with our wonderful homemade pastries and specialty coffee programme, to a relaxed grazing menu where you can order a little or a lot, the inspiration comes from some of my favourite wine bars in London and Paris — yet it retains a distinctly northern Portuguese character. Whether you choose a few nibbles with a glass of wine, a deliciously juicy burger, or smaller plates crafted from top-quality ingredients and designed for sharing, Flôr is casual, fun, democratic, and above all, a place to gather and enjoy good company.
As night falls, our energy shifts towards a progressive cocktail program that celebrates local products and techniques, both old and new, while paying homage to contemporary drink trends. From 9 in the morning until the night ends, there is always something exciting happening at Flôr.”

“Leading this project is about so much more than coordinating teams or managing schedules; it is about creating a living, breathing space that transforms throughout the day, in step with the rhythm of the city. From early on, we open our doors to the scent of coffee and artisanal pastries. As the day progresses, those morning aromas give way to the distinctive notes of our signature cocktails, and the bar is reborn as a vibrant meeting place where locals and travellers cross paths. The real challenge is keeping the soul of the bar present through every moment, respecting its multifaceted identity without losing authenticity. That is where the beauty lies: in guiding a team that listens to guests, anticipates their needs, and creates memorable experiences. For me, this project is an extension of what I believe in: hospitality with personality, respect for each product, and a genuine passion for making people feel welcome, whether with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.”
